Perhaps I exaggerate...
Making you, my yet unknown lecteur, read the entire speech...but you really ought to. It's beautiful, and will live long past the senseless hype. We studied it in class today and compared it with several other speeches in history. It's lovely. I've highlighted some of my favorite parts...also, be sure to check out the songs below, they're effervescent which is how I imagine we must all feel, right about, now! In "Bonheur" you will witness the following, a miracle: only a beautiful French girl is able to sing, lightly and poignantly à la fois: Do not be afraid of happiness, as happiness does not exist.
